From Ellen - If you’ve already read Adventure on Dolphin Island and liked it, I’d love to hear from you…send me an email at eprager@earth2ocean.net! As a marine scientist I’ve been lucky to spend a lot of time in, on, and under the ocean. Many of the adventures in the book are based on my own experiences in places like the Galapagos Islands, the islands of the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, and Fiji. From swimming with wild dolphins and sharks to gliding among a school of shimmering silver fish at a coral reef 100 feet below the surface I’m always amazed by the sea and its wondrous life. On land, there have been adventures as well, exploring caves in the Bahamas or seeing giant tortoises and hiking up the side of a volcano in the Galapagos. I truly hope you enjoy the story and it helps you to appreciate the sea, its creatures, and their important connection to all of us that live on this blue planet, we call Earth. I hope more people, young and old alike, will have the opportunity and desire to explore the ocean’s wonders, therefore I am committed to putting a portion of the profits from sales of this book toward marine education.
